Flsa Minimum Salary Requirements 2024 Notification. Effective july 1, 2024, the final rule increases the minimum salary required for the flsa’s executive, administrative and professional exemptions to $844 per week. The rule revises section 13(a)(1) of the flsa, which exempts executive, administrative, or professional (eap) employees from federal (but not state or local).
Besides the minimum salary requirements, each exemption includes a duties test, which remain unchanged. These revisions to the fair labor standards act (flsa) will increase the minimum salary from the current amount of $35,568 to $43,888 ($844/week) starting.
